Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The work force development program is open to all individuals aged 18 and up, particularly those from underserved communities in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Whether you’re a recent high school graduate, a parent, a career-changer, or someone returning to work after time away, we encourage you to apply. We do not require previous job experience or a tech background — just a willingness to learn and grow. Applicants must attend an info session and complete a short application form before joining the next cohort.
The fathers in tech program offers focused tech skills training in a format that works for busy dads. Classes are held in the evenings or weekends to allow flexibility, and peer support is built into the experience. Fathers learn computer basics, job search strategies, and workplace professionalism — while also building community with other participants. We believe when fathers thrive, families thrive too.
